How Virtual Assistant Support Works

Working with The Virtual Desk Co. is designed to feel straightforward, professional, and well-defined from the outset.

1. Initial enquiry & discussion

We start with a brief conversation to understand your needs, priorities, and preferred way of working.

This ensures support is aligned before anything begins.

If a retainer isn’t the right fit, ad-hoc support can also be discussed.

Once agreed, a short onboarding form is required to allow me to learn your systems, preferences and expectations.

This includes:

  • Confirming priorities and tasks

  • Gaining access to required tools or accounts

  • Establishing communication preferences​

A short settling-in period is built in so support feels seamless and efficient.

Work is carried out calmly and consistently, with time tracked accurately and tasks handled according to agreed priorities.

For retainer clients, time is reserved monthly to ensure availability and focus.

For ad-hoc support, work is completed on a one-off or short-term basis, subject to availability.

Clear communication is central to how I work.


Updates are provided in line with your preferences, and any issues or queries are flagged early.
